The Fatal Atteraction Ch1

Some say that dying is easy, painless even. But others say that winning is easy, but dying is sometimes hard. They say that this world is filled with real evil, this evil lirks within our greatest fears. There are some doors that should never be opened, but when they are, our nightmares become real. I've expercanced evil before, even my master experanced it. It all began on a summer day, the weather was warm, light, and spirit lifting.

Sheldon: Mmm.....

Caitlin: Sheldon, wake up.

Sheldon: *pulls the covers of his head* ten more minutes!

Caitlin: Okay, ten more minutes.  *leaves the 4th bedroom and goes into the kitchen and makes breakfast*

Grim: *walks in the kitchen rather very tired and in his bath robe and getting a cup of coffee*

Caitlin: Moring, Dad.

Grim: *yawn* Morning.

*knocking at the door*

Caitlin: I'll get it! *walks up to the door and sees Chirs the lucario and opens the door for him* Morning, Chris.

Chris: Morning. What's up?

Caitlin: Oh the usual for today. Just interacting with the undead and spirits and such, you've always known I've been into paranormal.

Chris: Yeah, I know. Where's Sheldon?

Caitlin: Still sleeping I guess, but I know what'll wake him up. *goes back into the kitchen and gets a sagusage* Aw, well. If Sheldon does not wake up, I'll have to give the taste, juicey, tender sagusages to someone else that'll love them! *wink* *wink*

Sheldon: *runs into the room and grabs the sagusage and eats it like a pig* OM NOM NOM!

Caitlin: I knew that would wake the boy up!

Chris: Morning Sheldon.

Sheldon: Hey, Chris! What's up?

Chris: Nothing much, hows it going?

Sheldon: It's going good, and even better! I'm finally gonna be a dad! WOO!

Chris: Congrats, man!

Sheldon: Thanks.

Caitlin: Oh, I just remembered that my friend, Veronica is coming over.

Sheldon: That cazy, she-wolf chick in the picture you have in your diary?

Caitlin: How did you know that picture was in my diary?

Sheldon:......Just a lucky guess.....*blushes*

Chris: Who's Veronica?

Caitlin: We were friends and room-mates at the orphanage since we were six. I was adopted about a few weeks after I got in the orphanage, but we wrote letters to eachother and we went to school together. She finally got adopted a when we were tweleve. And she's not crazy, maybe a little hyper, but not crazy.

Sheldon: I'm not so sure you can turst her.

Caitlin: She's my friend, I can trust friends.

Chris: I'd listen to Sheldon if I were you, sure he might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but he does have a point.

Caitlin: You two just need to get to know Veronica, she's really nice, you'll see.

Sheldon: Okay, whatever you say. *walks into the kitchen*

Chris: *fallows Sheldon*

I've always known that Veronica was no good, but Caitlin didn't see that somehow. But she trusted her, Veronica was her friend...or so she seemed to be her friend....

*A knock is at the door*

Caitlin: I'll get that! *opens the door and Veronica enters with Wolf* Veronica! Come in! It's good to see you, it's been a while! And you've changed a lot! You look so mature!

Veronica: But you're still the same as you were adopted, honey, still cute as a button. *looks at Wolf* And this is my boyfriend, Wolf. The son of the Wolfman.

Caitlin: It's a pleasure to meet you.

Wolf: It's a pleasure to meet you too. Didn't we talk on the phone before? About my lost lucario, Luna.

Caitlin: OMG! Now I remember! I also have some good news, my lucario Sheldon is her husband and she's gonna have a baby, how sweet is that?

Wolf: That's nice, she's always wanted kids. Plus I'm a Pokemon Breeder and an investavige jounarlist and a cop/agent at the same time.

Caitlin: COOL!

Wolf: And I've been worried about her for a reason, there've been murders left and right.

Caitlin: Murders?

Wolf: Yep, but somehow or another the murder gives us the slip.

Caitlin: Whoever the murder is, he/she is a slippery one.

Wolf: Yep.

I couldn't help but over hear what they were saying...fear swelled inside me...

Chris: Sheldon..

Sheldon: WHAT! *ninga pose* Oh....Chris, it's only you...

Chris: You have nothing to worry about, they've got this.

Sheldon: I hope you're right.

After a while, I was just hanging with Chris at the bar.

Sheldon: *grabs a wine*.......

Chris: Sheldon, everything okay?

Sheldon: It's just that......nevermind, I don't think you'd understand.

Chris: Hey, *puts a paw on Sheldon's shoulder* I'm here for you, man.

Sheldon: *sigh* Okay, I'm worried about the baby.....what if it doesn't like me? And Veronica....I don't think I trust her.

Chris: Sheldon, you're gonna be a great dad, I can tell. And I don't trust her either, but she's a friend of Caitlin's.

Sheldon: You're right, I need to relax more. *cell phone rings and Sheldon answers it* Hello?

Catilin: Sheldon, it's me!

Sheldon: Caitlin? Everything okay?

Caitlin: You need to come home, it's about Luna.

Sheldon: Is she okay?

Caitln: She's fine but....I need to tell you in person.

Sheldon: *hangs up* Chris, something just came up. Family emgerancy. I'll be back as soon as I can.

I left the bar and ran back home as fast as I could to find Luna, Wolf, and Caitlin. Luna was in tears, I didn't know why. She ran to me and hugged me very tight, nearly to the point where I almost couldn't breathe.

Sheldon: What's wrong? Is something wrong?

Caitlin:....Guys.....you're....you're not going to have a baby after all....but....it might not be time for you to become parents just yet.

I was mute, I frozen, and my mind went blank. I was so upset, I was in a rage. I started using mega punch and mega kick on the same oak tree Caitlin used to stay under when I was a riolu. My eyes bleed tears. I was breathing heavily and clinging my teeth.

Veronica: Hello, Sheldon.

Sheldon: What do you want?

Veronica: I just wanted to say better luck next time. And maybe to night will be the night you  can began a family. It must be really hard on you.

Sheldon: Just go away and leave me alone!

Veronica: Fine.....I leave.

She walked away and vanished in the darkness. I fell to my knees. I sobbed really hard.

Chris: Sheldon, where were you?

Sheldon:...Chris....I've got some bad news, I'm not going to be a father after all.

Chris:......I'm....I'm sorry about that, man.

Sheldon: It's okay.......*sobs*

I continued sobbing, I felt a warm paw for some comfort. I turned my head to find Caitlin.

Caitlin: Hey, Sheldon. It's gonna be okay.

Sheldon:....*sniffle*

I lunged to her and hugged her as tight as I could, she hugged me back.

Caitlin:

My sobbing slowed down, that song had always brought comfort to me. The next morning, Caitlin and her friend Veronica went off to school and I was still hoping that I'd have a good sporting chance to have kid with Luna. Wolf was away inspecting more murders from last night.

Veronica: I don't think Sheldon likes me very much.

Caitlin: What makes you say that?

Veronica: It's hard for a Pokemon to love it's master's friend.

Caitlin: He just needs to get to know you a little better, that's all.

Lila: Oh look, it's a couple of dirty strays!

Caitlin:.....(Why can't Lila just leave us alone? That puma doesn't have the right to pick on us!)

Lila: *grabs one of Veronica's books* Is this a bible?

Veronica:.....Yes.

Lila: *laughs* Look everyone! The christain freaks brought their little bible to school today!

Veronica: GIVE ME THAT BACK!

Lila: *throws it across the room*

Veronica: *gets it back*

Caitlin: Lila! Stop it!

Lila: Why are you even friend with her? You'd be better off with me!

Caitlin:.......*looks over to Veronica and sees the choker around her neck* Veronica....When did you get that choker? *gets closer to touch it and take it off*

Veronica: *screams loudly*

Caitlin: *backs away and is frightened*

Caitlin: *opens door and is very quite*

Sheldon: Caitlin, great news! Luna and I are gonna have a baby!

Caitlin:......

Sheldon: Something wrong? Did school go well?

Caitlin:....Yeah.....I need to do some homework. *enters her bedroom*

Sheldon: That's weird. I'd better get Chris, he's better at things like that than I am.

I told Chris and he tried everything he could to make Caitlin talk, but it was hopeless. She didn't say anything.

Sheldon: Caitlin, you can tell us anything. If it's something bad we won't tell anyone else if you don't want us to.

Caitlin: Don't tell, okay...

Sheldon and Chris: Okay.

Caitlin:.......Veronica pushed Lila off the slide at the park today. Lila has a broken leg. She's gonna be in bed for a month. Veronica told me if I told anyone, she'd break my arm.

Chris: OH MY GOD! We have to tell Wolf!

Sheldon: NO! We promised not to tell anyone! Veronica will hurt her!

Chris:....Okay. We'll keep it hush-hush.

Caitlin: Thanks guys.
