Epilogue


“Aah!”

“Luna! Come on! You can do it!” Sheldon encouraged his wife, holding her paw tightly. “You’re almost done! A few more to go!”

Miska nodded. “A few more! Come on! Push!” Luna took a deep breath, every inch of her energy and strength began to drain heavily as she pushed harder and harder.

Hot tears rolled down her face, she had to get it over with, she had done it once and she could do it again.

Miska stopped. “I can see the head! It’s almost out!” Sheldon still held on to Luna. “Luna! You got it! It’s gonna be okay! Just one more push and we’re done! Push!” Luna let out once last scream of pain, finally feeling relief of pain.

Miska held out a small Riolu in her arms.

Sheldon’s tail started wagging, he kissed Luna on the forehead. “You did it, honey.” Luna smiled back, sweat and tears drenched her face, Sheldon didn’t seem to mind it.

He looked over at Miska. “What is it?”

Miska smiled handing the pup to Luna, she cradled the puppy in her arms and smiled.

Miska turned to Sheldon. “It’s a girl.”

Sheldon’s eyes lit up a bit. He always did want both a son and two daughters (counting Alice since she was cloned after a failed birth). Tears began to roll down his face.

The pup’s cries could be heard throughout the Aura Base. No one seemed to mind it though. They had a newborn member into their team. Sheldon lightly held the pup’s paw.

He frowned a bit. “Well, since my stepmom and dad named my baby step sister after my actual mother, we won’t be naming her after her.” Luna kept her eyes on the newborn Riolu.

“She doesn’t really look much like a Daisy.” A light bulb flashed above her head. “What about Charlotte after the book character?” Sheldon thought about this for a brief moment and smiled. “It’s perfect.” The Riolu soon opened up her eyes and looked at her mother and father.

Sheldon chuckled lightly. “Luna, look at her.” He turned back at his daughter’s sight. “Hey, sweetie. I’m your dad.” Charlotte cooed and giggled at Sheldon. He laughed a bit.

Luna handed her to Sheldon. He gently cradled her in his arms. Sheldon kissed Charlotte on the forehead and gently rocked her back and forth. “I’m so glad you were born to see me, you’re real dad.” Charlotte snuggled into her father’s chest fur.

Sheldon held her closely whispering softly in her ear. “I love you, baby.”
