Momma's Girl

Prologue



"Ohhhhh, look at all the pretties!" A shiny female Lucario cooed in awe at the sparkling jewels and gems caged inside the museum cases, the moonlight definately captured their beauty much more pleasently than the sunlight. "Oh, Spikey-Wikey, this is the best thing anyone has ever given me! I'm sure Mr.G would be so proud of you for making his speical Luci happy!" The girl sang wrapping her arms around her partner's waist. 

"Yeah, yeah. I know, babe." His voice was gruff and sounded as if he had garggled with gravel from all the smoking and drinking he had done all of his life. Taking another smoke of his drug-infused eletronic ciggerette he took the jewels immediately from the cases as the alarm sounded. "C'mon, Lucid. Let's blow this joint!"

He aimed an aurasphere at the wall as it eurpted with cement and matters of brick. The two ran off as they immediately heard police sierens catching up to them. Lucid tried to keep up with Spiker, if it wasn't for her sudden clusminess of tripping over a firehydrent, she would've kept up with Spiker's speed. 

"SPIKEY!" Lucid called out. "Wait for me!" She shouted as she tried to get up, only to recieve a horrid pain in her leg from the mighty fall she perviously had from the hydrent. Lucid inhailed intensely from the sharp pain. "Spikey! Help me!"

Spiker turned around, he had a choice this time now; save Lucid and get arrested by the police or take most of the jewels and let Lucid take all the blame as she has half of it. He made his chocie. He smirked his shiny female counter part. "Sorry, sugarlips. Can't take my chance witht he coppers, I'd get the death penalty after all from my team killing the little baby's mommy. So, I'm going solo on this one. You should be honored in taking the rap for me." That being said, Spiker took off, leaving Lucid injured, heartbroken, and betrayed.

"Spikey! We had a deal! You promised you'd be there for me no matter what!" Tears came to Lucid's eyes as she heard the sierns grow louder behind her. "GET BACK HERE!!!! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME AND WOULD NEVER LEAVE ME! YOU CAN'T KEEP RUNNING AWAY FROM ME FOREVER, SPIKER!"

The seirns finally grew so loud that Lucid had swore her ears would eventually bleed from their piercing alarms. They finally came to a silence. She saw two officers exiting their cars. One looked like a wolf with a lion's tail. She knelt down at Lucid. "Hmmm...Val, check and see if she broke anything." 

The second cop was a Zoroark. She gently laid a claw on each of Lucid's legs, once the claw took a ginger tap on Lucid's injured leg, the shiny Lucario kicked the Zoroark in her side. "GET OFF ME!" Lucid hissed.

Valentine growled. "Lorietta, she's one of Obi's enemies. He told me all about her."

Lorietta smirked. "Ah, Lucid. Ever since she started one of the biggest crimes the troops and I had ever seen." The shewolf put Lucid's hands behind her wrists and smirked as she clapped the handcuffs on her wrists. "You have the right to remain silent."

Lucid glared at the wolf as the shiny cold cuffs were snapped onto her wrists. Her mind shoved aside the thought of killing Obi at that point, for now, her thought was on killing Spiker for leaving her in the dust and the dirt. No man threw Lucid away like that, not even Spiker. She knew then and there that Spiker would regret his choice of leaving her from that moment on.
