I soon stormed off into the biggest mistake of my young life. The salty tears covered my entire face and stung my eyes, they were as red as blood, I was blinded by the anger and sadness of my tears. I feel to my knees and cried even harder than I was earlier before. A few minutes past, I slowly stopped my crying. I rose back on my feet and looked around me for a while. I took my first step and slowly started walking around for a while.
Meanwhile back at the barn, Luna and brought the good news to everyone that I evolved. "Luna, are you sure that it wasn't a riolu that looked like Sheldon?" "I'm sure. I know Sheldon when I see him." She ran to the old oak tree and she gasped in worry. Wolf and Caitlin fallowed and were just as shocked as Luna. "Luna, where's Sheldon?" Wolf waited for her to answer. Luna turned to him and Caitlin and finally answered. "I don't know, he said he'd be waiting for us near the old oak tree." Caitlin was worried, she saw me as her only son she never had. "I'm going to find Sheldon. If I'm not back in in two months that means something bad happened. Wolf, I want you to take care of the Pokemon while I'm gone, okay?" Wolf looked at her. "Sure, I can do that."
He grabbed on to her hand. "Caitlin, it's to dangerous!" She looked at Wolf. "Wolf, Sheldon's like a son to me. I nearly lost him over a thousand times and I can take that chance of losing him!" They looked at eachother for almost an hour. Caitlin was waiting for an answer. Wolf finally spoke "Okay, just be careful!" "I will, I love you Wolf." Wolf began to blush. 'She never said that she loved me.' He let go of her paw, she took off running. Luna looked at her master for a long time. "Wolf?" "What is it, girl?" "...Nothing..."
I kept walking for hours, daylight slowly transformed into dusk. I should mention that I'm scared of the dark, you never know what could be lurking around in the nightly shadows of the darkness of night. The darker it got, the more scared I was. I slowly fell to my knees again, I curled up in a ball, I started crying again. I couldn't help it, I was scared, alone, and helpless. "Hello?" I heard the voice of another lucario. I lifted my head to see who it was, It was pitch black, I didn't see who it was. All I saw was a figure that looked like a lucario, it walked over to me. I froze and said nothing. It keeled down to me. "Are you okay?" "Y-yeah! I'm fine!" "Who are you anyway?" "I'm Sheldon." "I"m Chris, it's nice to meet you." "It's nice to meet you too, Chris."
He lead out his paw to help me up. I grabbed it and was lifted gently. "What brings you out here in the dark." "I'm in the dark?!?" "Yeah...why?" "I"m scared of the dark!!!" I started shaking like a leaf. A tear slowly dripped from my face. Chris put a comforting paw on my shoulder. "It's okay, there's nothing to be scared of." "Ar-are you sure?" "Positive, I'm right here with you." "I'm sorry...I'm just so timid. The timid Pokemon are always the weakest of all!" Chris looked at me slightly confused.
"Who said that?" I looked at my feet and closed my eyes. My voice was quivering, slightly weak yet somewhat strong and clear. "Scar and Kevin." Chris wanted to know who I was talking about. "Scar is a luxray and Kevin is a lucario." Chris was somewhat shocked. "That's my brother!" "Scar or Kevin?" "Kevin! But believe me, he sucks at fighting and battling!" "He kicked my butt earlier today!!" "That son of a--wait'll I get my paws on him!" I raised my head only a little bit. and slowly stopped crying. "Chris?" "Yeah?" "Nothing." "You're a little bit of a quite natured lucario aren't you?" I shrugged only a little.
Chris was in deep in thought for a while. "I'll tell ya what, we'll find a place to sleep for the night, and I'll take you over to my place for as long as you need, how does that sound?" I smiled at him. "That sounds nice. Thank you." "No problem." We came across a small cave near by, I already got myself comfortable and feel asleep, Chris was wide awake and teleported every once in a while to get us food in the morning. I was deep in my slumber, dreaming about my future with Luna.
Caitlin was still on the look out for me. She went deeper into the forest, she heard a sound suddenly. "What was that?" She fallowed it to find a whitish-grey wolf, wearing blue jeans, a blue hoody jacket and a black t-shirt with black hair on the top of his head. She came closer to him, he was devouring a roasted chicken near a bon fire. "Hello?" "Hi." "What are you doing?" "Keeping from starving." She giggled. "I'm Caitlin." "I'm Sean."
"I'm looking for a lucario, have you seen one by any chance?" "Was he wearing a dark blue hoody?" "No, I think he was wearing a black collar, and his name's Sheldon." "Then I haven't seen him, sorry." "It's okay, he's been gone all day, I starting to worry about him. He told me today that he's tired of being treated like a baby, but it was before he evolved." "Really? How old is he?" "He's only fourteen years old now." "He's older than Chris." "Who's Chris?" "Chris is my lucario." "Oh, well, you wouldn't mind if I stayed with you over night, would ya?" "Of course not, I wouldn't mind at all." "Okay, thanks." "It's no trouble at all."
They soon began talking and showing pictures of me and Chirs very often through the night, they both soon fell deep in sleep that same night. "Sheldon...wherever you are...please be okay." Caitlin whisper before she fell in a deep sleep.
The next dawn, I awoke being greeted by a bright angelic ray of sunlight. I rubbed my eyes and rose up to my feet slowly. "Morning." Chris said with a cheerful tone. "Morning, Chris." I sat down and grabbed what I could to eat. I felt like I was hungry as a Snorlax after winter hibernation. I ate at a fast speed, Chris ate faster than I. As soon as I finished, a sharp pain grew inside my stomach. "Something wrong, Sheldon?" "I ate to fast and too much!" "I can help with that." All I could do was nod at him. 'I'll thank him later.' 'Well, Sheldon, you can thank me now, and you're welcome.'
Chris was reading my mind. I could tell by the look in his eye he was. He placed his paw on my stomach, it started glowing a little dimly. The pain in my stomach soon faded. I sighed in a strong relief. "Thanks Chris." "No problem, Sheldon." I rose up on my feet. "So Sheldon, can I ask where your going?" "I"m going to prove I'm a brave and strong lucario." "Sheldon, you don't have to do it just because my brother and Scar said--" "It's not because of that. It's because I wanna prove to my master I'm not a baby anymore and that I'm a grown man. And to prove to Luna I'm a brave lucario." "Who's Luna?" "She's a really good friend of mine, and I really love her!"
"Oh, a girlfriend!" "She's awesome, smart, fun, brave, and--" "Pretty?" "Beautiful!" "Would it be okay if I came with you?" "Sure." We soon set out on our adventure.
Back at the barn, Luna sat near the old oak tree and continued to wonder if I was still alive. Kevin walked up to her and sat next to her. "Well hello there, you sexy she-lucario." "Oh, hello Kevin." She looked away from him. "Oh come on, I wanna see your pretty little face." "I don't want to see anyone right now, please." "Oh come on you sexy thing." "Please! Stop calling me that!" Luna stormed off. "I see she's playing hard to get again. I can handle that, just keep kissin' that ugly frog, Luna. This sexy prince can wait."
Soon Caitlin and Sean woke up from their long slumber. "Come on, wanna help me find Sheldon and your lucario Chris?" Sean nodded at her offer. "Thanks, I'm gonna need all the help I can get." "It's no problem at all." They both prepared for their search for us.
Chris and I stopped at a dark path. Chris was the first to speak. "Can't go around it, can't go over it. We gotta go through it." I swallowed hard. "I was afraid you were gonna say that." I haistated but went through the path, Chris was at the lead. "I wanna go home!" "Sheldon, it's okay. I'm right here with you." "O...Okay." I held on to his arm rather tight, a dark purple fog surrounded the area around us. "Chris!" "There wasn't any fog her before..." 'I want my mommy!' 'Sheldon, don't worry, it'll be fine. It's probably nothing.' I didn't have anytime to gather all my courage. We soon heard a voice in the distance.
Come little children, come with me
Safe and happy, you will be
Away from home, now let us run
With Hypno, you'll have so much fun
Oh, little children, please don't cry
Hypno wouldn't hurt a fly
Be free to frolic, be free to play
Come with me to my cave to stay
A chill ran down my spin, I could tell it was a Hypno. It's shadow grew closer to us. I stepped forth to it. "Hello, young man." It's voice was like a ghost. Creepy and disoreanted. I didn't speak, my voice was as frozen as my body. "Do you want to be my friend?" It asked me. "I...I really don't think I should." I answered timidly. "Well, lets to it with a deal. If I win a Pokemon battle, you and the other lucario will be friends." "What if I win?" "I let you and your friend go. Do we have a deal?" "It's a deal!" I answered firmly. The battle had begun.
Hypno made the first move, psychic. I dodged it, every attack Hypno used, I dodged every one of them. I used dark pulse and aura sphere. Hypno was out like a light. He rose from his feet. "I am a Pokemon of my word, I set you and your friend free, young man." We walked away from Hypno. I turned my back to thank him, but he was gone as quick as lighting. "Sheldon, come on." I turned back around. "Coming!" I ran back to Chris and continued our adventure. "Sheldon?" "Yeah?" "What that Hypno said had me wanting to ask you something. Do you really wanna be friends with me?" "What's the catch?" "Well, there's no catch for you." "Then okay. I guess that makes us friends now." "I guess it does."
Caitlin and Sean continued their search for us. "I hope their okay." "I think their okay." "But Sheldon's a timid lucario, he can't survive on his own." "But what if he and Chris became friends and stayed with eachother even through the night?" She thought about what Sean said for a long while. "I think that's a happy thought to think about and you could be right about that. But wouldn't that make us friends too?" "I guess it does." She giggled, he smiled at her.
Luna continued to worry about me. She held a treasure bag in her paws she made for me and put all my prized possessions in. "I have to give it to him." She sensed my aura of where I was and teleported to me. 'Don't worry Sheldon. I'm coming.' She teleported in front of me and Chris. I was a little surprised. "Hey, Luna." "This your girlfriend?" "Girlfriend?" "Luna, this is Chris, Chris this is Luna." Luna smiled at Chris. "It's nice to meet you." "It's nice to meet you too, Miss Luna."
Luna giggled, then smiled at me. putting the strap of the treasure bag around my shoulder. "I made it for you, Sheldon. I put all your possessions in there, and other items you might need while you're on an adventure." "Thanks Luna. I'm on an adventure right now. Wanna come?" She nodded her head. "Okay!" I was happy she was coming with us. We continued our adventure. 'The first part of it was really scary...but I survived...I wonder if Caitlin knows I'm gone...'
'Where are you Sheldon?' Caitlin looked down at her feet. "Something wrong?" Sean was a little worried. "It's nothing." "You sure?" "I'm sure." "Okay."
